Clayne Frazer Sr.

Clayne Douning Frazer, Sr. was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. After receiving a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Texas Wesleyan University, Clayne had a short career in the Oil Industry in Oklahoma and Texas. Upon moving back to Fort Worth, he began working for Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Funeral Home owned by the late Guy Thompson, father of his close friend and fraternity brother, Martin Thompson. Clayne moved to Michigan in 1993 and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Wayne State University in Mortuary Science. After graduation he worked for the Desmond Funeral Homes and for Service Corporation International before deciding to open Frazer Cremations and Funerals. Together with his family, Clayne is excited about his new Funeral Home and the opportunity to bring Exceptional Price and Exceptional Service to all in South Lyon and the surrounding communities.

Julie Frazer

Julie Frazer is invested in the growth and success of her town, South Lyon, where she has been an active community member since 1979. When Julie and Clayne got married in 1993, they chose to live and raise their family in the community that meant so much to them. Julie earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business Management from Eastern Michigan University. She then went on to become a successful model in the Michigan market for 30 years. Working as a national spokesperson for the auto show circuit, precision driver, and actress. For the past 15 years she has had a successful career in sales, management, and marketing. It has been Julie and Clayne’s dream to open Frazer Cremations & Funerals, and provide an affordable alternative to South Lyon and the surrounding communities.

Clayne Frazer Jr. graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Relations. While attending GVSU, Clayne was active in the Men’s Club Lacrosse team, and was Vice President of his Fraternity. Also during this time he completed internships with both U.S. Representative Bill Huizenga, and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. Clayne hopes to earn another degree in Mortuary Science, all the while helping his family in the everyday operations of Frazer Cremations & Funerals. He is passionate about the opportunity he and his family have to provide exceptional service at an exceptional price.

Skylar Frazer

Skylar Frazer graduated from South Lyon High School in 2019. She is currently attending Eastern Michigan University where she is pursuing a career in Elementary Education. While attending SLHS, Skylar was active in Women’s Lacrosse, the PEERS mentorship program, Link Crew, and was also a dedicated Young Life member. Skylar is overjoyed with the idea of working with her family and providing an exceptional service to the town of South Lyon and the surrounding communities. She plans on balancing her time between helping her family at Frazer Cremations & Funerals, and furthering her own education.
